Well after I drove 67 miles to look at the wrecked blazer "with no frame damage" (3 and a half foot rip in the frame rail) I was supposed to buy, I ended gettin a nice hb that was 10 mins from my house. It's an 88 with 160,000 miles on it. Dude took real good care of it and almost everything on the truck has been replaced, plus the body is laser straight.. Brand new tires, alternator, and water pump. The paint job sucks but thats ok. My plans are to swap to new style dash, add a footprint gas pedal, and change the color to probably black with black interior but I'm not sure yet. No rust whatsoever. I gave $1800 for it so I think I did ok, I've seen better deals but who cares. Plus just cause I mentioned it in another thread, I tossed in a pic of my project AR15 I'm building from scratch, every spring, pin, detent, bolt is all assembled by me. I'm about $35 bucks away from finished.

Rock river 2 stage trigger and rock river lower parts kit. Cmmg lower reciever , Stag upper and barrel, UTG green dot laser sight, Yankee hill suppressor,
pri gas buster charging handle, and tapco stock. Thats what I got so far. And yeah in the future it will have an Eotech or a Trijicon Reflex sight. Plus I still gotta upgrade the stock and the grip.

Love the AR build! You can't go wrong with anything RRA puts out....EVER!

I've got some big checks coming soon and I want to do a RRA lower with a dpms flat top upper and barrel. The jury is still out on the optics and the stock/grip...but I like the way the magpull's feel, but damn are they spendy!

My buddy Jay just put a Larue Quick Detatch mount on his 20" barrel AR so he can swap between his eotech and his Weaver grand slam scope. Scope for varminting, and eotech for when he goes to the range for a few rounds of 3-gun. He told me he has had NO zeroing problems with either one of his optic sets after swapping them out.

I'll take the cheap millitary mags over any other brand of mags (except brownells). They are cheap and extremley reliable.

I use several different places. Online through Rock River Arms, Brownells, DPMS. And I also go to local gun shows. I hit them up on sundays because you can usually jew em down on prices because there aint many people around and the dealers are just trying to move the product.
I actually just ordered this Tromix Shark brake from DPMS. Its the most evil looking accessory you can attach to a weapon:evil: I'll be startin a new thread just about the gun when I get this bad boy in the mail.
