Well I am one of the few on here with an 05 + Fronty, so I wanna get this section started out right. My Frontier is a 4x2 King Cab 4.0L v6 6spd. manual. It has been lowered 5.5 - 6inches. Rear was done with a custom made flip kit by me which I fully welded to axle tubes, and custom front spindles were done by Max Fish at biokustumz. Replaced my 6 cylinder springs with XE 4cyl. springs. I also airshocked the rear to keep heavier loads from kissing the frame (like cases, kegs, welder, etc.). My wheels are 20 x 8.5 with a 35mm offset, Tires are 245 35 20.
I have a speedo calibrator made by Hypertech. My wheels and tires will tuck into bedsides after the lip is trimmed down, that is when laying frame without body dropping. My alignment is great with only -.4degrees camber. I will be bagging my truck soon and I will keep all of you informed throughout the process. There are bagged 2nd gens out there maybe a hand-full, but I would love to see more. Ron Perkins from Relaxed Atmosphere has by far the sickest 2nd gen. He was known as leftsyder on another site we won't talk about, but hopefully he will make the jump to this site. Here is his truck, should get you motivated!

PRG products is also making bolt in coil overs good for 1-3 inches of drop.
mine is going links with coil overs all the way around to handle so wont be dragging frame like some of the others

Nislo, Does your 6 cyl suck the gas down like a v8? My 200 CC fronty only got 14 mpg, thats what keeps me doin 4 cyls, but I really need more. What are you experencing?

yes the V6 is a gas hog! Especially compared to my old 4 banger hardbodies.

I am almost exactly where irongrave is with my MPG and I am shifting at like
3k and babying the hell out of it. I have no performance mods or engine add-ons. Just a speedo calibrator from hypertech so my odometer does not go up like crazy.

good info guys , thx. I wish their 6 cyls were better mpg than others V8s, not identical...until then its tough to buy less power even w/ a better looking truck. I need pullin power and good mpg w/o.

Thanks again for all the props. There are more pics in the post your pics section. As far as lowering I think nislo has the best plan of attack. Biomax spindles and flip kit. Besides if your going to bag it you ll still need the spindles so its not a waste of money if you do that to get by.

That would get you a little lower but not by much. Depending on how low you are looking to go.

I have an 07 frontier crew cab v6 with 6 speed 21,000 miles on it. I am averaging 22 - 23 highway 18 - 20 mixed. Have gotten up to 28 moving from LA to PHX. Was only doing 55 to 60 MPH though. Drive em right and stay out of the gas and you can get good mpg:)

Where do you get the parts to bag the Front of a Frontier, and is it direct bolt on, or alot of custom fab? Also, can it be done to a 4wd?
