Well it was a good weekend now I can start on the cab,got a bit of cuttin done ready for roof chop,,3 inch''and bodydrop ,sheet floor and metal dash of I dont know what!!!

09-14-2009, 09:26 AM
not sure about the dash so I will shave the stock one,see what I come up with.

09-15-2009, 04:03 AM
why dont you stockfloor it if you have it ripped all the way down?

09-16-2009, 04:40 PM
poeple in australia dont really like stock floors hard to get them passed over here get picks up of your rooff chop hey bro add me to msn swifty138@hotmail.com so we can talk roof chops i need a bit of help dealing with the front window angle and shit

09-16-2009, 08:53 PM
seems odd that people there dont like a stock floor. stock floor body drops are cleaner looking...besides the whole head room thing.

09-17-2009, 11:06 AM
i agree with you on that its the structure thing people dont like over here they are to soft

09-17-2009, 10:58 PM
good start bro! keep it up and u'll be slammed in no time!

09-18-2009, 06:02 AM
stock floor body drops are awesome, was thinking of doing a sheet floor,I dont have msn tislow but im on facebook!I will email you picks of how we are doin it

09-18-2009, 02:33 PM
i agree with you on that its the structure thing people dont like over here they are to soft

whats the difference between the sheetmetal they use on trucks over there compared to here.. is it just that they get rusty or rotted or are they actually weaker/thinner or less bracing ? Do people there rebuild the floor at stock height or traditional body drop style ?

sorry about all the questions... wish I could get over there and see for myself.

09-19-2009, 03:25 AM
it all comes down to the strict laws we have in place about what can be engineered and what cant!Personally I think sheet floor looks way more clean!

Hey man, would you mind sending me some more pictures and details of how you are doing the chop aswell. I'm keen to know things like if you are keeping the same angle on the windscreen , and about glass and all that stuff as I would like to do a chop in the future. My email is ausi_tripper@msn.com your help would be appreciated.
