Personally I haven't filled up since Ike hit...have been real conservative of my fuel. Not sure where we are at the pumps here at the moment. I do know that per barrel oil is at the lowest it's been in a very long time...although what we are paying isn't equal to what we would have been paying at that time with prices that low. We have to contribute that to the downward sticky...meaning they will raise prices fast yet when it comes to bringing them back down they move slowly...just another way for them to profit more.

yeah, OPEC is looking to cut productions , cause they enjoy making the money... Europe is already asking them NOT to, cause this is gonna help our world get out of the slow economics issues... so hopefully USA and other countries will push to make them not slow productions... or just do away with opec and find other sources , like Brazil oil boom and canidan bakken oil shells and etc...

3.179 here... I still don't get it the refinery is right here by us yet you go an hour or more in land and they are paying as low as $.50 less than the coastal average. 5.70 a gallon is CHEAP, at one stage it got to 7.50!! and the exchange rate from aus to usd was 1:1
