JVC AVX-810 Double Din Touch Screen

Alright fellow Infamous peeps, got a double din JVC AVX-810 touch screen for sell. I bought it off ebay for $550 brand new approx. 5-6 months ago. Barely used since 4 out of the 5-6 months I had it, the truck was @ Chaotic Customs getting some work done. Not much play time on this thing, no scratches, looks brand new. Comes with remote, instructions, manual, warranty info, and both sets of wiring harness'. The reason I'm selling is because I upgraded to a Kenwood DDX-814

You will have to make your own mounting brackets, because I don't like the ones that my new touch screen came with. So I'm using them now.

The only thing that I should mention, is that it's a little slow reading an Ipod when you connect it. Other than that it works awesome.

Yeah it has the detachable face, and comes with a felt protective sleeve to put the face into.

IIRC, no. not many honda's can fit a double din.

Yes, your car has a double din opening. You just won't have the "pocket" anymore

Well I didn't use it long enough to time how long it will take to read, but it is noticeably slow when you connect it straight to the head unit so you can control your ipod from the head unit.

If you check the reviews there are some people that say the same thing with it being slow to read your ipod. If it ends up being too slow you could always connect it to the aux input and control your music with the ipod instead of controlling it with the head unit.

But just like anything else out there, you get what you pay for. Since this is a cheaper touch screen you have to expect that there are just some things about this touch screen that won't be as good as If you spend $1000 on a touch screen. For instance: Slow ipod reading speed. I'm not gonna sit here and tell everyone that "this is a must have" and "the best touch screen ever" because I get on here daily and I don't want to exaggerate the truth. If it was the best touch screen ever I wouldn't be selling it....lol

If you want a good looking touch screen, and don't feel like paying $1000 + than this is a good deal. All in all it has tons of features and it is pretty easy to use for the price.

Like stated earlier, I'm selling it because I upgraded to a kenwood ddx814 because of the ipod speeds, the better EQ adjusting, and the higher preout put voltage. But I did have to spend $800 for it....so I think that about sums it up
