I don't believe that this modification would be that hard to do. I have thought about doing this myself, as I like the look of the wider 1 piece headlamp.

What I was thinking about doing was going to a junk yard and cutting the bucket where the headlight would sit on the maxima and then fabricating that to the 720 core support. That would allow you to have the exact mounting points that the headlamp would normally sit into.

Does that make any sense?

Another close match to the headlights is the older Chevy Caprice.

you stole that right outta my mind, so it will work, just chop the 720 grille?

yeah, I would think you would only need to trim the piece between the 2 headlamps to fit the 1....like i said, haven't checked it out personally, not yet anyway....

I think on the maxi head lights you have to trim the core suport a lot from what I have heard

I have caprice lights sittin in my garage, but when i took a look you would have to cut alot of the core support to make them fit with the stock buckets..

all you guys talking about cutting a lot...personally, the more I have to cut, the happier I am...my 4.5" cut-off wheels have become my best friends... :)
