My 720

IT LIVES!!!!!!!! Well after a spell in the shop we finally got my 720 back last night. It runs like a champ now and the a/c will freeze your balls off.

The carb was shot to hell and back. Now it has a nice shiny Weber in it.

So hopefully the next step is start making it look better. After the chunk we spend the truck still looks like ass.

Now I can finally learn to drive it!

I was going to get some shot of it yesterday but when we got off work we had to drive it down the beach like a boat... It was a good thing we went to the part store and got new windshield wipers... We ended up stopping at one of the casinos and going to eat til it stopped pouring... So pics soon, i promise!

She's right it does still look like a rust bucket. Even though we now have about 3G's tied up in it, at least it's running properly. Has a new windshield and a cold A/C. Not bad for a truck that will be getting it's antique plates next time :D .

My next task is to finish removing all the adhesive and hit the rust spots with some good converter and put some spot coats on to keep it from rusting. Later down the road we can replace a few parts and actually do what body work needs to be done before paint. We don't wish to have this truck live in primer as long as my hardbody has...just the same though it won't be as all out as the hb either...simple & clean, and above all this truck will be a driver.

Damn it I still haven't gotten any pics....There's not much room in that lil' truck so haven't felt like loading the camera bag. I'll just stuff the p&s in my pocket and get some, it's not like they have to be good it's a rust bucket still.

Hard for me to compare to those pics. It's not deep cancer....just a lot of surface.

As for the wheels, She AIN'T getting the boyd's. She's gonna start with eskie's just like everyone else :cool: Although, the thought had crossed my mind...then I was like no they belong to my truck. If I put 'em on there she might not let me take them back off.

OH! and the butthead still hasn't taught me to drive it. I think he is enjoying driving it to much.
