swapping buckets for bench.....

got a 97 hardbody extracab with bucket seats. decided i want to put in a bench seat so that i can ride my 2 little boys around when they get a little bigger. the smiles on their face would be so worth it. so i was wondering which years bench seats would work there and would it connect to the factory mounts. any input would be great. thanks

Like DAZE siad, any bench from a 86.5 to 97 nissan pickup will bolt right up. You will also want the center seat belt (male and female parts). Those will also bolt right up to existing holes in the floor.

Too bad your not in Florida, I've got a bench just sitting in my garage. If your lucky you could find someone in your area to trade your buckets for the bench. Or check your local junk yards.

Walked up today and found this in a 94 single cab at LKQ. Exactly what I'd planned on. Plus someone had already unbolted it, so I "bolted" to the checkout with it. Knowing it was only $19.99, I was not taking any chances.

It bolted up in my 94 king cab as easy as I found it in the junkyard. Made my day.

Yeah your as tall as me!, But im sure you can do some customizations with the mounts on the bottom of the bench to make it sit lower.. Just an idea

i was wondering that too. im 6'2" and not bodydropped yet. but if went with traditional bdrop would this give me more headroom?

yes some seats came like this i had a seat like it in my old 91 that i ended up trading to a guy for his bench without one and 50 bucks i wish i never would have gotten rid of that seat it was comfy as hell ! but i only have the 89 hardbody now that im trying to sell so i wouldnt need it now anyway

I know 94s have the center fold down armrest because mine has it, but for some reason i THINK the automatics are the only ones that have it?

Two baby seats is a tight squeeze in there. I had to trim the bottom side of the middle one so my leg & hip could fit.
