HID Halos

ok so i got s set of black prjector h4 halo housings, HID bulbs and the conversion kit, i hooked the conversion kit up fine, it was a lot easier than i thought actually, the only part im stuck on is the halos, the projectors have 2 wires coming out of the back(one white, one black) and they go to a small blue bulb in the bottom of the light, im assuming thats the halo bulb, so the question is, where do i hook this wire up to? do i need to get a relay and hook it up to a seperate switch or does it jack into another existing wire? the housings came with no directions what so ever, anyone who has halos or has worked on them before and can help please do, thanks

that would go to the parking lights or to a switch which ever u perfer. its all up to u. if want them on with the parking lights then do that if u want them to be on when the truck is on u can do that too.

these parking lights you speak of...you mean the corner lights? i know its a dumb question, just, my truck is manual so there is no park but yea i think im gonna wire them into the corner lights tomorrow

yes, the corner lights. i have never figured out why they call them parking lights either. kinda the way they call "apartments" apartment's, there together lol.

if there lil blue ones they fade really really fast and look like crap i have em on mine if i were you i wouldnt hook em up

hahaha i already hooked em up and yes, they do kinda look like crap, i dont understand the point of em...guess theyre not halos, whateves got em all hooked up and the HIDs look sickkkkk, im not home now and wont be til tomorrow so ill post pics then...unless theres a way to post pics directly from ur phone..like mobile uploads?

yeah there just like mine the hids look good my lil blues ones all the blue is aready gone i wish i would of gone with the black ones like you i just go clear ones

yea i actually noticed yesterday that it looks like the blue might be going away already towards the bottom of the bulb, where it screws in, i see more yellow light than i rmemeber seeing before but whatever, i havent used them by them selves since i hooked em up much anyway

with mine i thought it was fading, it looked kinda whitish on parkers but then when the headlights are turned on they look blue again lol. weird

i dont have any pics of how far the lights go on the road but if u look in my photo album i have a pic of the front with the lights on, im at work now so cant take any pics but later when i get home ill take one of how far the beams go and post it up

yea yours actually look like halos tho, mine just look like this faint blue/green light when the corners are on

the front part is all broke the projector and bulb is ok

same here i was afraid to order the halos cause i heard the hid bulb wont fit in a halo

L-Rolla yours are completely different to mine, My Sig pic is the parkers, which is a ring around a projector lens that has 2 LED bulbs in the bottom that put the light all the way around the ring, thats it off at day,

mine takes a h7 (single beam bulb) but mine must be stronger than urs, i smashed the front of my car in and although they were angled retarded after, they stayed solid?


i have a h7 in blue and white, the blue is absolute shit, cant see like 50 meters in front of me, the white is better, but not good by any standards,

(these are just hooked upto my low beam headlight switch in place of the stock one, the results would differ if u ran a xenon kit)

its just a normal head light bulb that sits behind a big magnifying glass
