wats the best type of glues to use for my interior. i plan on wrapping and the interior pieces, the bottom of my dash and my headliner. there all gonna be wrapped wit the same material. i just figured the headliner and everything else would be seperate glues.

so wats everyone else using?

weldwood...comes in pint cans, brush it on...like $13-15 bucks a can.

same price you'll pay for the shitty spray glue you buy at the auto parts store.

it smells great too

the 3M super 77 is okay, but i think the good one is made by weldwood like Jrock said it comes in cans, a local guy uses a spray gun to apply it, but u could brush it on

The 3M 74 works really well, meant for interior stuff, much better than 77 which doesnt hold up well under humid conditions..the weldwood in a can is the best sprayed through a air gun.

Contact glue works well. I spray it thru an old primer gun on both sides, let it tack a bit and stick it. I have had good results with this method

Contact cement works well. As does the 3M stuff. With the 3M look for the higher numbers for a better hold. I think the 90 is available at lowes. Read the directions tho, its similar to contact cement. Spray on both surfaces, let it tack, then apply pressure.

the 74 is a much higher strength adhesive than the 77 also costs 18 bucks a can.

Yea bud you'll be fine using it on the headliner also for best results if you can use it through a spray gun

id even hit it up with a little degreaser also, get the oils and shit off. Scuffing it up will help with the bond, a scotch pad would probably do alright...
