My 96 Nissan Char'dbody

Yep, today was not a good day. I ran out of gas earlier today. I thought I smelled gas. I had my sister bring me some gas and i got to a station and filled up. I went and picked up the wife for lunch. On the way home smoke started coming in the vents, then there was a boom and flames coming from the passenger side. The brakes were gone, took me about 100 yards to get stopped(finally remembered the ebrake is under the dash. i jumped out and called 911. It took the fire dept about 20 minutes to go about 1.5 miles and actually get water on it.

Major suckage! Only had the new tires on a week. just got my re-7's today..

thanks everyone for the comments. It was rough watching it burn. Luckily I had friends show up to make wise ass comments about my new flame job and it being hot :rolleyes:

Anyway, the insurance adjuster should be out in the next day or so. I had gap on it as well, so it will be paid off.

What will rise from the ashes? I dont know. I have a line on a couple trucks. A stock floored s-10 or a mazda... But I may just grab a gsxr1000.

A buddy wants all the steel parts I have for his truck. So I will probably list up my bags here.

Sounds like you need to remove the parts then, they're not reimbursing you for them. I'd even take the bed if it were me. put the original wheels back on or none at all. If the dealer didn't specify the bed cover, custom wheels, or custom stereo it wasn't paid for by the bank.

Thats sucks bro, the fire department was probably a volunteer department due to the delayed response since it took 20 minutes for them to go a 1 1/2 miles. Alot of volunteer fire stations aren't staffed 24/7 so they had to wait for a couple of guys to meet at the station before they could make it on scene.

I bet you could make at least 1000 dollars back from parting it out, like scotty said

Havent been on here in awhile.. There was actually some stuff that I didnt get out before they came and towed it to the junkyard. I had a chain and floor jack in the bed, but I didnt care enough to drive all the way to St Louis to get the stuff back.


Now I'm rolling a 2000 S-10 thats bagged and bodydropped. This is from a photoshoot we did a couple weeks ago. I've got it for sale though
