sup yall, quick question, as I would appreciate the help. Today on great sunny day I was on my to the beach when my window took a shit and decided it would not go back up, it just stopped working. So I checked the fuses and they were all fine, so I figure its either they PW switch or the the motor, if anyone know of what else it can be please let me know...
My question; are things like this covered by the warranty?
Becasue my truck is still under warranty, its 2006 frontier. Please anyone with anything let me know.

if it's still within the 3 year 36000 mile warranty period then yes is should be covered. just call the dealership.

back in 97 i knew about 5 different people with different nissans, and everyone of them had power windows that atleast 1 didnt work including me...over the years ive hears many storied about power windows failing for no reason...
i know when i needed to roll mine up, was i had to leave it up juste enough to grab a hold of it, and pull it up while i hit the up button

Yeah well thanks you guys, I went and with the extended warrany I just pay a $50 deductable.. who new.. but yeah when I took it to the deal God spoke to me and said " hey look at 2009 with roll up windows" So now thinking of trading it in the quad cab for an extended cab with a 4 banger and roll up windows, s that I will not have stress in my life.
Does anyone here have the D40 4 cinlinder? Let me know if they are fast enough? I just really looking for a smaller payment and i really can do without pwr windows...

I don't know about the Nissan's but I know with VW the actuator's they use would break depending on the heat level. We live in CA and well the heat was hotter than say CO, and they had an involuntary recall on the actuator's, which means you had to say something before they replaced it for free. check with Nissan and see if they have any of these similar issues, might be able to have it switched out for free...oh yeah, and VW switched them out with ones that could deal with the heat out here....
just a thought.

i will check eith them I gotta call them they told they would call me today and nothing.
I meant fast as in like can they handle the weight of the truck cause it is a pretty big truck even thought it has 2.5. I just wondering cause V-6 that I have with the 4.0 gets up and go.. so that why I was just wondering but thanks on information

The 2.5 is tolerable with a 5spd and gutless with the auto.
You'll miss the 4.0 if you downgrade. Test drive a 2.5 thoroughly before making the jump.
