whats up guys just joined the site, decided to put up a thread of my truck project. its gonna get tore down because i think the dude that built my truck didnt do too good of a job on it. and its just had alot of shit go wrong and im sick of it. and i have a 06 gsxr600 that i rode daily til i did a wheelie for too long and its getting rebuilt now, and lucky for me i just bought a 08 gsxr600 brand new off the showroom floor on saturday. so the truck is going to get torn apart. i run an upholstery shop in phx arizona. and i have a huge yard with my roomates who own a repo company. heres whats done:
suspension: fully bagged, a 3 gallon tank, viair 450, 10 switchbox, 6 valves and 4 bags, rear setup is a cantilever setup, rides like a dream, but the setup sucks because the dude was supposed to do 1/2 inch, and he told me he did 3/8s, i was ok with that until i realized he put used bags in the rear and 1 blew on me, i went to replace it and i bought a 3/8 and my lines ended up being 1/4. and i was supposed to get 2 tanks, 2 compressor, and a avs switchbox, didnt work out that way.
motor: stock, exhaust cut after the cat. sounds decent lol
interior:suede and leather bench, tweed pillars, tweed headliner with 3d flames, all done by me.
stereo: pioneer cd/mp3 player, sony 6x9 and sony 6 1/2 in the doors, 2 mtx 10's behind bench
wheels: gay z71 wheels

plans: tear bed off because the dude body dropped it cause i didnt want any holes, then he welded tubing to the bed and frame as mounts. gonna redo that. redo front end, finish cutting out the inner fenders cause they rub and try to clean up all the ugly scattered wiring. shave the doors, front fenders, all lights, do a rollpan, and some flush mount LEDS. pathfinder buckets that i will redo, new carpet, custom door panels im gonna fab up, and a center console for 3 subs, not sure on size yet. paint it limetime green and black and pinstriping. ok on to some pics.

yeah i got the truck from my brother like 1 year ago, was bone stock. i had some old car club friend do the bag setup and he did good work just kinda half ass. the rear setup is super nice just not fully welded together. and the interior was the first interior i ever did to a car. so i cant wait to redo it. i think the headliner will stay the same i dont wanna change it. first custom headliner i did. looks amazing in person, i think that will add to my truck big time that it was my first one done. any ideas on front tubs and how i can clean up the wiring and the throttle box on the driver side?
