240 speedo

i have a 91 s13 and it has the digital speedo with the heads up display.......now, when i turn the key on, it will stay on for a few seconds and then fade out. sometimes it will come back on for a second or so and then go back off, but after a few mins, it will just stay off......anyone else have this problem?

bad solder joint.

check nico and zilvia. its a common problem and there are fixes posted all over the net if you look.

yep...its a bad capacitor........you put a hot soldering iron on it and it lights up........ easy fix, like 10 dollars
