never really cared about my truck only getting 12.6 volts all day as long as it starts. but i am bored and wanna fix this. so what i did was test the voltage at the battery and i got 12.7 and tested the voltage at the alternator and it was 14.0 i check the schematics and it says that i can pretty much just hook the alternator + to the battery + and gound the alternator body directly to the battery - terminal. what im gonna use a fusible link of course but do ya think i should leave the factory wires and just add to them or just use the new wiring only.
