rear brakes on a hardbody after redrill...

ok well im gonna send my axles to moser to get them redrilled to yota 5 lug...my question is what the hell do i do about rear brakes as far as the drum is concerned, it will still be 6 lug????

u can weld up the holes in the drums and redrill them for the 5 lug. but prolly cheaper and easier to just get a yota rear

i havent sent them anything yet, i wanted to know about the brakes first...they quoted me 80 plus shipping for the axles alone.....also should i buy new drums and send them or just send the old ones on the truck???

depends on how good your drums still look. are they worth still using or just replacing?

pugz i would just swap the axle but i havent found one for less than 300...and ur boy never got back to me about the parts he had awhile back...

I'd keep looking for an axle, otherwise it's 80 plus shipping for the axles, whatever plus shipping for the drums, and when you wear down the drums and need to replace them it'll be new drums plus whatever plus shipping for new drums. If you get a toyota axle for $300 bones you can replace it with parts at any autozone or checker without any redrilling.
