yeah its pretty hard to look to your sides at night if you got 5% tint...i remember i had 5% tint over my 35% factory tint n that felt like i had tunnel vision everytime i rode at night...

5% is dark.... 2 dark and your deck will lite up the inside of your ride

Got 2 layers of 5 I can't see out my back glass an I gotts to roll my windows down to back up at night. I hate it

i have 20% on my side windows and 5% in the rear its still a little dark for safe night driving. and backing up in a no light area...forget it

i just tinted my windows 5% today and 2.5% on the king cab windows with stock tint on an aftermarketrear glass and i like it so far, it is a big difference from no tint to this at night, but helps a lot during the day in florida

With advancements in full metal and ceramic tints in the past 10 years, it's not really necessary to go a 5 or double 5...unless you just don't want people to be able to see inside your ride.

The cops around here are hawks when it comes to tint. They pulled over my nephew the other week and he has factory tint all the way around on his blazer.

i prefer the look of no tint. but i wouldnt go darker than 20%.

I had just got sick of being pulled over just for tint. So I quit. Now I like No tint so people can see all angles of the interior at shows.

thats why i have it so dark. just cant stand peps looking at me at stop lights

i just recently tinted my windows to a Florida illegal 5% (legal is 10%) and a cop (state ride) was sitting right beside me at a stop light then i casually drive off after the light goes green then he gets behinds me and pulls over, so i roll down my window then he comes up and was like "the reason i pulled u over is because u have no tags visable" cuz i have my license plate in my back window and it fell down, so he runs my stuff to ck out everything then comes bak and gives me a fix-it ticket for it and drives off. never even mentioned the windows at all.
i was bout to shit bricks cuz right now i already have 3 standing tickets

I live in florida and my tint is 5% and i never get shit from cops. I even had my windshield tinted for awhile in tampa but got a ticket at school. only time i ever had a problem. and you get used to it being so dark

i would just worry about getting in an accident not cause of the tint, but just in general. the cops see the tint adn say, HIS FAULT!!!

got lucky huh? i remember my friends civic had 5% all around and i think the legal here in a hawaii is 25%... he got a fkn ticket for illegal that wouldve cost him almost $2k but he took it to a shop and got it removed for only 20bucks n the court dismissed it ....:nana2:

I have 35% on the door glass and 20% on the back and x-tra cab windows, also a small strip across the top of the windshield. Its as dark as you need it and still be able to drive at night and no probs with the fuzz.

no i already had those tickets befor he pulled me over one is speeding which a paid today and the other one is for riding my atv on military reservation property(only street vehicles allowed to ride there) and the 3rd was the fix-it for illegal tag placement

dam i dunno about the hole 5% over 5% but i wana get alil tint just to make it easy on the eyes in the sun but i really like the nice clean no tint at the same time so i dunno..

ive got 35 on the sheild 5 on the side and double 5 on the back its really not hard to drive but ive always had dark windows

I had 50% on shield and 11% on sides and over the factory x-cab and back glass, on my 04 fronty. Looked good and wasn't too bad to drive at night just had to open the slider to back up. It's gone now, back to stock. Got pulled for the tint and it led to a vehicle seach and...... Damn I miss my tint.
