roll pans

you guys have any experiences with different rollpans i can get an fbi one at member price but ive heard bad things about them, like you have to trim and shape them after you get it. ive heard that grant kustoms is the best bplace to get em, anybody have an opinion on this?

i'd go with grant personally and it is a custom part there is always a little fitting to get it prefect but not like FBI

FBI is where its at...evan if you dont get a weld on one from who ever you can still use screws 2 put in on

most rollpans and metal pieces will need to be trimmed. not all trucks are created equal from the factory so they make the pans a hair long to account for any differences.

I just got a grant tailgate skin for my fullsize and on my buddy's truck it fit without any trimming but when test fitted it on mine it needed to be trimmed a lil.

well i mean i had to trim an ass load off my tail light fillers from fbi. prolly a full inch or inch 1/2 from the overall length, i think that was uncalled for.

Grant is the way to go! Cool peps over there helped me when I wanted a custom roll pan for my 720 and only wanted to charge me 220.(because I wanted to put the body line in the roll pan and thats not how they make em)

I got mine from SuicideDoors.com and mine went on with no problem. I just recently shaved up the seems on the sides and it looks great. I didn't have to trim anything to get mine to fit...I would reccomend getting one from there..

if sd orders from grand, ordering from direct from grant will be cheeper?

No but if you order from sd and have a problem they tell you to talk to steave from grant kinda lame I think

my roll pan from grant worked great, i trimed about a quarter inch off it and it fit perfectly. door poppers working great too.
