Whats the fitting betweent the right water trap and tank for? Also is that a gauge fitting on top? Looks good man!

that would be the pressure switch on the right and yes gauge fitting on top.

as soon as i buy a daily so i can leave my truck as the project vehicle...sooo impatient. its already been 2yrs so whats another 6 months or so? haha! just gotta decide on a color too...

plans for the next few YEARS...2.75" body drop w/ fuel cell and 4x4 fenders on the bed, mold the tailgate w/ the bed and shave the taillights, suicide doors and shaved handles, maybe a primer job somewhere in between...with much more to follow

not my truck but just by lookin at it looks like the pressure switch and possibly a gauge lead line for the cab or somthing on top.

Reassembled everything the friday morning of STC and just threw it on the trailer and rolled out. We smoked the tail lights in the condo parking lot in biloxi friday night. Special thanks to the automated garden sprinklers for help with the wet sanding.

After STC I started messing around with some tape to make a design with flat black and the yellow but I ended up tossing the idea bc I couldn't make it look right.

This is how she sits now. I've been block wet sanding for the last week and found the highs and lows, gonna do some more bondo, sand it again, spray some more yellow, wet sand some more, spray some more yellow then hit some accents with flat black.

few more updates...started working on the bed sides. since i cut out the inner wheel well to clear my 225/45/18s the outer bed panel gets a lot of flex and rubs on the tires while driving. so we used a little trick i saw off an episode of "Trucks" and pie cut the bed side, flared it out, and welded it back together. I gained about an 1" per side. After welding the bed back up we put in some braces to prevent any inner wheel well and further bed side flex.

did 2 rounds of bondo per side so far. still have to smooth it all out and get the curves right. this is our setup in the driveway...

few more updates...got all the bondo worked out and the curves look nice, got the bed sides and rollpan wet sanded with 500 grit and scuffed the inside of the bed with scuff pads. All that is left is to tape and mask everything off and it'll be ready for paint. Everything will be done before Scrapin' this year so i'll actually be able to relax some.
