hope this is the right section, so my deal is my truck was crushed hard in the front along time ago, and i got a parts truck for the motor and the core support is straight on it. Would it be better to cut every spot weld and reweld the straight on th my truck or cut them both off leavin enough metal to overlap and weld together?

what i would do is grind the spot welds just enough to remove the damaged parts not all the way thrugh on your truck remove the damaged parts, drill thrugh the spot welds on the good parts, put on your truck measure and make sure its square then weld the spotwelds up.

^^Like above I would also pre fit your front end before welding it up. Nothing worse then welding it all up to see that you welded it up to high or low.
If you need measurements to square the support up I should be able to get them off of the computer at work. I just need your vehicle info
