just putting a yota bumper on my hb and wondering what the easiest way is to bend the fenders over after cut where the bumper goes (near corner lights)
especially with 4x4 fenders it seems like its going to be a pita to do it right, it seems like a better idea to weld something there instead

cut it at the seam and leave the bolts in the fender rad support and I cut up that to where I need to be close after this the flapping metal is easy to work by hand. once done with the fitment how you want it then cut off excess.

When I did mine I just mocked up the bumper to where the fender needed to be modded then I went down 3/8" and cut the fender then rolled the fender up to the mocked line needed to be with a hammer and dolly then welded up the corners and smoothed everything out.

when i did mine on my old hb i just cut the fender even with the corner light, but i like the cut lower and roll a lip idea better.

i would agree at cutting it off at the corner light but for sure leave some extra. it can be used to mount the edge of the bumper in place and keep it from dangeling

i have heard that if you just cut it off that it will rattle and make noise and if you left the extra and then you bend it up and put some fule line or someting on the back side of the bent lip and then it keeps it from moveing around

i ended cutting mine off flush with the corner lights and welded some 1" angle on them, looks a little neater IMO
