blinkers dont work

so on my way to work my blinkers stopped working as well as the indictator lights on the dash any guesses as why

i cant remember if the flasher will do that or not when it goes out...no real way to check it unless you got one to switch it with or a good friend at a parts store that lets you test parts! lol
