ok so i was flipping through the pages of my ever so loved HAYNES MANUEL the other day haha when i ran across this diagram of coil spring suspension in the rear of something that isnt a 720 at all. i was wondering if maybe that was the rear end out of a pathfinder and if it was a 4x4 wich yea i think it is but thats not my question.by the looks of it its already got a 4 link - spring pockets and shock tabs mounted to the axle so im thinkin if i take that off of whatever it comes off of could i use that to bag my truck? it just looks sweet couse it would be jdm pretty much except the notches and bridge bars and i could probly use the stock upper shock mounts that are on the truck already with the shock tabs that are on the rear end already. i mean would that work? has anybody done it yet couse if they i have i definatly havnt seen it.

yeah, the pathy comes with a link setup and coil springs, but adapting that setup to another truck wouldnt be ideal. most of the time you cut all the perches, mounts, and brackets off the axle and make your own when you bag a truck. that way you can put them where you need them.
you can do that with your factory axle too. the only reason to look for a pathy axle is because they often are the stronger axle (h233b) and they sometimes come with rear discs.

thats a pathy axle. its actually a 5 link - panhard rod on the back. you would have to relocate the upper shock mounts anyways when its lowered. its better just to build the 4 link from scratch.
