View Full Version : Removing the decals
Whats the easiest way to do this? on the truck i have now i pressure washed the decals off but the sticky stuff was still on there but is there and easy way to get those off?

should have use a hair dryer, try a little goo-gone in a small area, it should take it right off without hurting the paint, just don't quote me on that.

WD-40,gas and there are a few other things ive tried that dont work. PUGZ and afew others have mentioned goo gone but i havent tried that yet

goo gone works. or you could get a decal eraser from a body shop. fits on a drill and scrubs it off.
i wouldnt use wd40. it has a habit of lingering and showing up later on when you spray some paint or primer.

hot air gun or a good hair drier to soften up the adhesive, peel off. the goo gone works well to remove the residual adhesive. just pulling the sticker off can pull the paint off too so use the heat.
