Well my Air Zenith went out on me....shocker. I did better than other people did though, mine lasted almost 2 years. It didn't lock up or anything, I noticed I had a bad air leak, turns out it was leaking from the intake on the Air Zenith. Thinking it was no big deal cause I had a rebuild kit for it, while I was tearing it apart I noticed that the cylender wall was scored and scatched up bad; well I rebuilt it anyways.

After putting it back together it still leaked, so I was like F-IT. I went and bought a viair 480C from streetNshow, free shipping.

I'm a little late, but does anybody know If these are any good?

running a pair with 0 issues. id recommend them to anyone or their grandma.

sounds like your zenith needed a check valve.

Also how does everyone pronounce VIAIR? Is it VI-AIR, VE-R-E, or V-I-AIR?

At one time I had 2 450's in the bed and uncovered for 2 years. No issues at all. I have never heard anything bad about Viair. They make nice compressors. YOu wont be dissapointed! :thumb:

I just got my 480C chrome today, and it looks like a beauty. I love the fact it comes with a larger diameter leader hose and that you're able to remote mount the filter assembly.....awesome!

I saw that on mine but couldn't really figure out the purpose lol. I guess it didn't apply to me since my options were in the bed or under the bed lol. Did you remote mount yours?
