All new belts
FROSTY A/C with synthetic 134a
Great heat - All HVAC controls work
Carpet dash cap - I think the dash is in good shape (haven't looked)
No rust ever - although there is a ripple in the left lower rear bed quarter.
Good exhaust
New grille
EVERYTHING works
Clear title in my name

A buddy had put $7K (!!!!!!!) into this truck - Most of the stuff listed he did.
He went out one day and the truck wouldn't start, got pissed and sold it to me for $1800.
I put another grand (approx. - have receipts) into it making it near perfect mechanically.
This truck has never seen winter- it is spotless underneath.
The interior is not bad, carpet a little dirty, the seat has some stains, but overall acceptable.
The windsheild is cracked in the very left lower corner and has some rock chips in the middle, but passed Louisiana inspection last year. There is no obstruction of view as most states require.
The tranny shifts pretty well, but second synchro sometimes crashes if you shift fast. I flushed the tranny several times and put in official synthetic GL4 gear oil. Same with the rear axle.

I am going to list on CL in Baton Rouge for $3,200, but on the forum I want get the $$ back I put into it = $2,800.

Anybody notice that the AZZHOLES at fotopuket want you to pay $400 for a year of third party posting? That's why my pix are gone.
F8ck those dooshes.

I'm selling this one because I have about 60 vehicles.
I have an 87 Hardbody with a Ford Tbird Turbo in it.
88 Mazda B2000 with a 13B rotary in it
7 Chevy S10s...
1 Chevy LUV with a 3.8 Buick in it...
1985 TVR 280i
Do I need to go on?

I bought this truck because the PO had put a serious wad of cash into it.
It will be a total bargain to anyone who buys it.
I'm taking a bunch of pix tomorrow and posting it on CL here in Baton Rouge.
One thing I will miss: This has FROSTY A/C.

This site started as a pay site, but it has gone to a freebie:

Once you get over the learning curve, it has a lot more options that photobucket and it loads faster, too.

I'll try and take some pix this weekend.
My left knee blew up like a basketball, so it's been difficult walking...

I bought this truck over the weekend!

Was a pleasure doing business with BoozeHero, he's a real straight shooter!

Truck drove great on 500+ mile return trip with no issues. Although I didn't log it I guestimate it burned about $45 worth of fuel, not bad considerin its pushin a high boy topper.

Will probably start a thread in build log section here in near future. Plan on tidying up a few minor things over time, mostly aesthetic.

Thanks again BoozeHero!

(I wonder if the cajuns in his town will ever get over the sight of two gringos ripping through town in a cherry TVR drunk and naked?)

Thanks BBnet.
I was amazed at the trip you did. I've done it a few times, but it really kicks the poo out of you...
I hope you have a good time with the truck. It's pretty solid and runs very well - no timing chain rattle!!

What a howl... the Cajuns will have to get over it. Sometimes you just have to go for it... :dathumb:
