better add some to that budget then. you need sub, box, amp, and wiring. you'd be lucky to cover it with all low end for that price. I mean you can get a nice sound for that price but not no record settin ground pounder

If there's a best buy close by you can get a kenwood amp, 2 kenwood 12, and box for $320. I forget the wattage off the top of my head but it's a killer deal IMO. You save about $150 off what it normally is. A friend of mine has them in his dodge ram, it's not SPL winner but hits pretty good.

buy some Infinity Components....it comes as a set with 2 tweeters, 2 door speakers and a cross over that costs $250...but im tellin you...its the most clearest, crisp sound youll ever hear in a vehicle...thas if you want some quality highs..

yeah ur budget isnt very high so not gona get a HARD hittin spl winner outa that unless u run across someone sellin off their system....

but for the money the kenwood system aint bad for a good soundin nice bass..the memphis audio stuff is pretty good as well..i really like them but ull need to add to your fund for them...

mtx is another good hittin sub but still outa your budget for sub,box,amp.....

if you had a couple thousand to play with you could get 1 22in jackhammer and be set to blow the car apart!!!

your about a month to late just sold a bunch of stuff, but check you local memphis audio dealer. ours is selling 2 memphis m1's and a memphis amp for like 450 installed
