ok now that we have a new home and i screwed up typing my name in.

I'm looking to do a 3 link set up with coil overs on my truck. using the spring hangers for the front mounts and either bolt on or weld on tabs around the spring plate. what do i do about mounting the coil overs and what the best way to mount them so the truck sticks to the pavement

you'll want them spread out as far as possible to balance the Axle weight...
angle the coils (shock/coil setup) behind the axle at around 20degrees, no more then 30.... but this is not law , just make sure there not angled no more then 30 degrees or you loose your dampingness of the shock function....
if you just doing coils.... put them over the axle, then mount the shocks behind the axle like above mention....

hope that helps some...

also, your biggest problem is gonna be the lightness of your rear....
so setting up the 3link is gonna be more important .... you need to fig in the anit-squat and the instant center of your truck . cause the bars position will help in the amount of grip the tires will get taking off...

in your professional opinion matt, would it be wise to run a link from the leaf spring hanger to the axle and a panhard bar.

depends on how much torque you got going...

hanger be alright to use if your not planning to lay out or anything... and using a wishbone ....
only suggestion would be on the wishbone, use a good rod end(heim joint) or superpivot end , so it wont bind ....
you wouldnt need a pan bar on that setup...

now for the wish bone could i use some parralle bar brackets to mount it, use one for the lowers to the spring hangers and the other for the wish bone or should i have the wish bone on its own mounts. this truck is not going to lay i'd really like to build it to carve corners (auto cross and hill climbs)
