Front Bumper

What are my options for swapping out the front bumper on a 98-00 Fronty? Are there any companies that make aftermarket bumpers? How hard would it be to put a Toyota bumper on?

you can either swap on the 01-04 pieces, an Xterra nose, or fab something up. I never measured, I dunno what toyota bumpers would fit...but anything's possible.

actually i think you have to do some mods to make the terr front end work, but you diffently need a hood from the terra...the 01-04 will work just need fenders, bumper, grille, hood, rad support...and there is one other you can do but it means shipping parts from over seas...

also, looks like the Xterra bumper had the flares molded in. so you may have to get the fenders as well to make it flow right

Foe us 98-00 guys, i don't know if it's just me or does it look like the xterra, has wider fenders? If we got the bumber and fenders i don't see why that wouldn't give us more room. Like a HB 4x4 fenders and shit like that. Anybody actually checked it out yet?

I was thinking about that when I had my 99. and i'm not sure, but i heard that the bolt holes in the forward door jamb might be different. can anyone confirm this?

After posting i saw like three of them on the freeway, the fenders will work, i think that the fender flares on the bumper are attached to the lower piece, but we would also need to do some metal work or just run the flare extensions with the little mudflaps on the back of the fender to make it all look right. I am definitely gonna have to look into it.
