im volunteer i love it but im out in bfe so not much action

No always been paid, I finally got into Houston Fire Department it's paid carreer with the 3rd largest fire department in the nation.

Before Houston, I worked as paid "duty crew" for Needham Fire Department it's a small department (hardly any action)

Right now I work at sta.9 just north of downtown Houston, and it's ghetto so I've been in alot of fires. I love it

yea ive been with my volunteer for a lil over a year i love it always been interested my dad was thinkin bout goin to the big citys and try getting paid but he said he too old

im thinkin bout taking all the classes an training and trying to get with a city but idk just not in good enough shape

Man, In both fire academys I went through there were some bigger guys; but If you want it bad enough you'll be suprised what your mind can make your body do
