are a thing of the past. The SLR that I was using before was a loaner. It was okay but I finally got my weapon of choice. So when you see me at shows now I'll be on the other side of this bitch. Nikon D-80 10.2, I've already got a nice arsenal of HD lenses, filters, and 2 tripods...plus plenty of high speed memory space.
Sorry about the bad pics it was taken with my old cybershot

Nice set-up. Do you have a fisheye lens? if so, which one? I want to pick one up for our d-40.

Thanks and no I haven't checked into the fish eye lens yet...I might but not a high priority for me. It seems more of a pop fad to have one than a priority. I chose to get the macro and the 2 times optical attachment. I understand you can get cool effects with the fish eye. Although it's a 180% opposite from my primary needs of the camera. I use it daily to take pictures of my work, and when you take pictures of art you want it to look true and not distorted. The d-40 takes some nice pictures, that's what I used to do Travis' shoot. As far as bang for the buck though the d-80 is only a little more in price. Plus there's the 10.2 vs 6.1 mega pixel difference.

I'm starting to get on top of things a bit more in the store...then again when think that is when people load me back up with work. I've had a few vinyl jobs that had to go on the back burner, one is a guys on here...I hope to be able to finish those up soon. When my time requires me to be at the easel. I have to make a decision on custom vinyl work. That decision is to have a waiting list, because nine times out of ten those customers don't want to pay graphics time involved in moving around hundreds of little nodes to produce a clean image. So I work on them as I have time and call people when done. In the off season I can do stuff like that generally same day. All of this is a bit off-topic though, I apologize for that.

Thank you, I believe it will serve me well. I had to use the POS when mat took the camera to Spring Fling and I had some nice work go out the door then that I couldn't get a professional pic of. I knew then I couldn't go any longer relying on using someone else's camera...Though, I'm very grateful that I was able to use it until I was able to get my own.
