View Full Version : What bags for 97 hb in front ?

Im new to the Nissans but have built plenty of s10s . I've gotten partial to the slams for the s10's but im not sure about it for my nissan and how big of a bag can i run in the front ? I would like mutiple opinions on this.

the bigger the more cutting i have 2600s in the front and really like it but i made my own a arms so space was not a problim for me

we run slams r-7's...in the front and 8's in the rear..

we actually run RE-6's up front and RE-7's in the back..our friend with a dime runnin 7 and 8's...but were thinking about Dominators

the dime i have in the picture with my truck has 7's in the front and 8's in the rear

I run RE6s or Contitech 2500s. I like Contitechs pairde up with Bilsteins for a really comfortable ride.

Im using a RE-6 in the front with factory shocks, and RE-7s in the rear. With a 2:1 lift ratio bag on bars w/shocks. Its a littel squishey when i ride really low but rides vary nice at about 4in lower than factory.

what do u mean? obvousily you have your bags mounted on myou bars, how do u figure out your lift?

do u get 2 inches of life for every ince the bag inflates?

yea i get about 19" of lift in the rear. after you account for bag deflection.

thats some nice lift. how much lift in the front? I need a pretty good lift so I can turnmy wheels with out rubbing alot.

I have re7s front and back. They were a bitch to fit in the front there isnt a whole lotta room for them. I actually blew a bag last week parking my steering stop bent and the caliper bolt that holds the brake line on rubbed against the bag and tore it. I have since welded 1/4" plate to the stops to keep it from happening again.
