it sounds to me that the wire is bare, and is grounding out somewhere.
look for a bare wire...might be a bitch to find.

contact switch sticking? check it for corrosion. when i lived in ms, my mom's buick did that. i pulled the fuse and then hit a deer. the body shop fixed it lol. i'm sure there's a cheaper way.
I was looking at it today, I couldn't find any obvious signs of a short. I'll check the switch.. It's so random and seems to pick the most inopportune times,, like while riding by some ugly chick all you can do is through your hand up like I meant to do that.

You don't have to lie just to kick it. I know you really meant to honk at the ugly chick.

Sounds like a loose ground or bare wire somewhere. Does IT honk right when you push the horn?

Mine does the same thing when I make a turn. The problem is the contact switch in the steering wheel. I just plug the fuse back in when I'm makin a long trip so my cruise control will work. Other than that...problem solved.

It might be a loose weight in there or something. Do you hear anything rattling around inside when you turn the wheel? I had the same problem a couple of years back. Just took apart the steering wheel and threw the P.O.S out lol. It was incredibly annoying.
its something rattling in there. I've been to lazy to mess with it.
