09-30-2008, 01:19 AM

09-30-2008, 01:26 AM
how long did it take you to get it where it is now? .... looks good

09-30-2008, 02:15 AM
love to see trucks like that..... someone fucked up and U look at it and see that ..thats what I love about what we do U took a truck headed for the big junk yard in the sky.....and made a bad ass truck out of it ....nice work

09-30-2008, 02:59 AM
Sweet truck bro! I really like what you did with the interior. I dig the oldschool hardbody dashes more than the newer ones like mine had.

09-30-2008, 03:30 AM
Very Nice!!

09-30-2008, 03:32 AM
ya i picked it up june 07. I had to pull the right side out 2" and up 1 1/2" to get fender to line up that was a bitch. the air system was completely undone. bags were there. but had to run all the lines. it still need alot of work. I will be rebagging it this winter. I have many plans still to come. this was just the first step. put it together look Ok and drive it for a while.

09-30-2008, 03:33 AM
dude are those urban audioworks 8's?!! they are 13 years old.....nice job on the truck

09-30-2008, 03:41 AM
yes they are and ask those that have heard it the hit great for there is no amp whatso ever. have a pioneer deck with rear channel set to subs then pioneer 6 1/2" in the door off headunit. and my rockford 5 1/4" ran off a urban EQ that was with the subs in shed. Only threw the boxes in to measure with boxes when I fabbed the seats in. then I said let just see. And it blew my mind on sound. I mean its not pounding and rattling but balance god dam.
I have amps and a 16 octave EQ to put in just can't decide on what 10's yet.

09-30-2008, 01:23 PM
also the day after I brought it home I snapped the main ligament in my left wrist and had to have reconstrutive surgery to fix it. so most of the work I did will in a cast and let me tell ya that sucked at times. But alot of thanx goes to my brothers in Body Bagged Customs. if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have it they way she looks now.

09-30-2008, 05:46 PM
dude are those urban audioworks 8's?!! they are 13 years old.....nice job on the truck

10-24-2008, 03:03 PM
wow what a makeover :thumb:

10-24-2008, 03:42 PM
very very very nice man... not trying to be a party pooper just stating what i saw wrong... your hood and fender dont match up at all man... lol

10-24-2008, 05:09 PM
really looks like the core support might have taken some damage the bumper is sagging on the pass side an the grill looks as to be pushing up on the hood on that side .. Truck looks alot better now

10-25-2008, 01:55 AM
the previous owner rearended someone and I still used the parts the truck had on except for the phantom grille I have 2 different toyota bumpers to put on and lookin for a 93-97 hood. I just replaced the fenders and grille. I had to pull the passenger side up a inch and a half and out 2 inches. I also have plans to rebag it this winter with slams

10-25-2008, 02:13 AM
Ahhh you like those slams I got huh? lol

10-25-2008, 02:26 AM
always planned on useing them you just got em first but my truck already on switches haha. I will be gettin you back those templates soon thanx again. and hows that new top holdin up for ya

10-25-2008, 02:36 AM
Grrrreat! looks awesome too gives it that early 90's look, hey don't forget those door handles either lol i kinda need those hahaha

10-25-2008, 05:58 AM
I got em for ya. and peter the sunroof I got at a swap meet

10-27-2008, 09:54 AM
this is really...."one mans trash, is another mans treasure!"

good work bro

10-28-2008, 03:13 AM
thanx man

03-24-2009, 01:01 AM
picked up a new bumper for my truck. I have been waiting on one for over a year and getting scarce this is off 95 -96 toyota tacoma's and they are being crushed left and right for frame rot. well everyone that has come through my dealership has either had damage or chrome peeling off well finally rolled one in today that was getting towed away this afternoon so snagged it up

03-24-2009, 01:15 AM
lookin good man, Is it going to sit up higher when your done? I figured those bumpers were way too wide for our trucks looks awesome.

03-24-2009, 02:37 AM
Nice rags to riches story. Wish I had the money, time and know how to accomplish what you've done with your truck. If so, my '93 would be SAS'ed on 35's and my newly acquired '89 would be on the ground. Wish in one hand.........

03-24-2009, 02:41 AM
yeah buddy!!!

03-24-2009, 03:03 AM
i have always like that style of bumper, was looking at one for mine awhile ago. thats a good find and will look good.

03-24-2009, 04:37 AM
Damn bro, thats one hell of a turn around:thumb: Did the wheels come with the truck also?

03-24-2009, 07:10 PM
want to sell your hb bumper??

03-24-2009, 09:40 PM
yes the wheels came with the truck I hated them when i went and seen it for first time then I started building it. they have grown on me a bit. will change them but will be very last investment.

as for HB bumper sorry have plans for it some on here know whats about to go down

and for money I have a lil less than $3,500 in this thing so far would have gone sick on it this winter but need to finally fix my 97 neon for a daily BAD and I have let this project for to long, my neon has been sitting for 4years in my driveway not moving out of it but ran. I have decide thou to rebuild the engine since it has 136,000 on it.

05-24-2009, 02:04 PM

here it is guys and gals the new bumper is on

05-24-2009, 03:36 PM

05-27-2009, 02:19 AM
you know... I just now noticed that you no longer have rezirektid on the windshield looks alot cleaner this way, damn i'm oblivious even after ridin ten hours in the damn thing hahaha.

05-27-2009, 03:48 AM
It's been gone for almost 2 months and Brandy' just noticed it last time she rode in it and she walks past it everyday

05-27-2009, 08:45 PM
what exact bumper is that?

05-27-2009, 10:06 PM
96 toyota tacoma 4x4 only came on the 95-96's

01-21-2010, 12:02 AM
just wanted everyone to know that my truck is getting a transformation but I am keeping it under wraps til show season starts.

01-21-2010, 12:19 AM
Its def not a body drop because 3 or 4 years ago you look me in the eye and said you werent ever going to do one... UNLESS - hhmm??? guess we'll have to wait!!!

01-22-2010, 04:00 AM
thats a clean truck my friend!

02-14-2010, 08:06 AM
man that truck is tight.. you had hit back about boring my 16in gmc wheels. i saw your ride then.. but i tell you i love to see where they come from first!! wait till you see my pos.. lol.. mad props

02-14-2010, 05:16 PM

05-23-2010, 05:21 PM

I finally have painted my firewall and front clip for those that hadn't seen it. it use to be 3 different colors when you opened the hood also extended wiring harness and rerouted it. and this was all done without removing the motor

05-23-2010, 10:02 PM
Looks good man, are your front bag plates gusseted on the bottom instead of the top?

05-24-2010, 12:33 AM
yes they are but its all one piece and wraps under the frame also. which is also why I copied your brackets so I can redo the front.

05-26-2010, 02:03 AM
nice truck cant beleive they were gona send it to the crusher
talk about being in the rite place at the right time !!!!!

03-27-2011, 07:12 PM

its off jackstands and out of the garage for first time in 11 months

03-27-2011, 08:04 PM
alot of nice work, how hard was the sunroof or was it already there?

03-27-2011, 08:39 PM

nope did it myself just measure it out properly and seal it in

03-27-2011, 08:53 PM
Sweet ^^^^^ :thumb:

03-27-2011, 08:56 PM
Is it an aftermarket sunroof or did you pull it off of something? I love those side view mirrors btw, they are sweet

03-27-2011, 09:03 PM
I picked up the sunroof for $15 at a swap meet

03-28-2011, 06:32 AM
Sweet deal, so how did you mount the side view mirrors? Did you have to get a certain setup or just the regular mirrors and made your own bracket type thing?

03-28-2011, 11:59 AM
took off the stock mirror and machined out an adaptor

03-28-2011, 10:35 PM
Hells yea! keep it going! that cover looks good to, I bet you are gonna wanna hit more shows than x-fest or dropt out.

03-28-2011, 11:57 PM
If it was up to me I do it up like I use to with show season but kids put a damper on big boy fun. You got to think of how much just travel cost is for to hit up all the shows I use to go to. I will never miss X-Fest just for the night time fun lets see if Cody can make it just 1 year without puking and forgetting what happened.

03-29-2011, 01:08 PM
One of the more memorable parts of the show was just watching cody, and getting yelled at for yelling flip cup! lol.

03-29-2011, 02:35 PM
Nice build man.. Thinking of a sun riff was it difficult

03-29-2011, 03:21 PM
Quite a change...Nice build.

03-29-2011, 10:46 PM
to me no a sunroof is not hard but I have installed quite a few. I have one for my Yota but just sucks it just opens doesn't popout which is why I have not installed it yet.

03-30-2011, 03:48 PM
Well I have never installed one but I want one badly don't know bout sunroofin it or rag toppin it is it hard to make sure it don't leak or is it all down hill

03-30-2011, 11:13 PM
sunroof less likely to leak. but it is a big commitment to do so if you have doubts then pay someone. I had a coworker that wanted one and decided to do it himself instead of paying me and they cut the hole to big so guess how bad that leaked. now he has to buy another bigger roof and start over.

03-31-2011, 03:36 PM
Dang well im think bout it bu have doubts so I may end up truing to find some one reasonable its hard where I live littlentown nothig no where no one anywhere to help sucks

04-03-2011, 06:30 PM
guess what just got drove around around the block. but needs a brake master cylinder now.

04-03-2011, 08:03 PM
It's always something but its cool that its back on the road. I think mine needs a carrier bearing.

04-03-2011, 11:10 PM
I thought it needed one before I tore it apart but had found a frozen caliper upon dismantling. So I was hoping thats was the problem, it wasn't

04-03-2011, 11:49 PM
I know how you feel with brakes man. I can't get a good pedal out of mine at all. Pretty sure they are bled correctly but I think all the MC's that autozone sells are prone to leaking.

04-04-2011, 05:44 AM
I work for autozone and all I can say is stay away from their parts. Some people get lucky with them, but 8 out of 10 times I see a lot of autozone parts fail..

04-04-2011, 01:05 PM
yea i've heard the same from 2 of my buddies at autozone haha

truck is lookin good. i like the bedcover

04-04-2011, 06:15 PM
I work for autozone and all I can say is stay away from their parts. Some people get lucky with them, but 8 out of 10 times I see a lot of autozone parts fail..
Exactly the reason I dont buy from Autozone. The only time I would is if no one else had what I needed and I needed to be mobile.

04-04-2011, 06:47 PM
Haha, yea I don't even buy our own parts. Unless its name brand like spark plugs, or lights or something simple without the duralast name on it. My own manager bought an alternator for his civic, he went thru 4 different alternators with the warranty before he got a good one.

04-04-2011, 08:35 PM

sounds like my isuzu lol

04-05-2011, 04:57 PM
Are you going to carlisle this year? cuz i would love to see your truck in person? and i've been wondering was the kid gonna scrap the truck with the rims on it?

04-05-2011, 11:29 PM
more than likely no on carlisle I hate going and being harassed by the cops. unless I come out in my daily dropped yota. I will be at X-Fest hopefully the HB is redone by then either way i will be at that show. and yes it was all going to the scrap yard.

05-25-2011, 11:39 PM

mocked up the s10 blazer bumper that I been doing

05-25-2011, 11:41 PM
Nice flows with it cool

05-25-2011, 11:52 PM

05-26-2011, 12:11 AM
i thought about doin that bumper swap on one of my older nissans. looks good

05-26-2011, 12:53 AM
it wasn't bad it just need a few minor adjustments but that can be done after I tear back apart and paint the brackets.

05-26-2011, 02:24 AM
looks like it was meant to be there. i like it

05-26-2011, 03:35 AM
I like the blazer bumpers, I wish they make blazer bumpers without the impact strip though, it would be a cleaner look. Looks clean on the truck.. Did you have to make special brackets for it?

05-26-2011, 07:04 AM
Good save mate

05-26-2011, 12:07 PM
I wish the had em without the strip also. Yes I had to make my own brackets from nissan straight brackets some cuts and drilling holes it was actually very easy to do with some jackstands and a extra set of hands

05-26-2011, 12:53 PM
I like it looks right at home on there

05-26-2011, 03:47 PM
That does look good on there I have to figure out what to do to my truck I caught the roll pan on the driveway and ripped it off.

05-26-2011, 10:15 PM
that sucks Joe. guess that means another color change then to huh

05-27-2011, 03:24 AM
looks better!

05-27-2011, 12:23 PM
that sucks Joe. guess that means another color change then to huh

Yea I'm already sick of the purple I have the paint for it I just haven't had time to work on it.

05-27-2011, 10:18 PM
that will mean I never seen as a purple truck. hopefully if I can find a place to spray mine in next 2 weeks it will also be different color.

06-06-2011, 02:26 AM

06-06-2011, 04:54 AM
i cant see the "IN"

06-06-2011, 11:01 AM
Looks good . I see all your vents are good to . I am redoing a 93 and need vent trim or the whole vent

06-06-2011, 10:31 PM
IN is to the lower right corner. And everything is still in need of some body work. I didn't finish it at all. I will when I go to paint it silver. I'm just glad to be driving it around again.

06-07-2011, 10:49 PM

lmao when I flipped it Mat, but here it is..

06-08-2011, 12:24 AM

06-08-2011, 01:52 AM
Im stll waiting on my cowl

07-07-2011, 01:30 AM

09-19-2011, 08:26 PM
what size are the wheels? 18s? i have the same wheel off my colorado but in 20s. thinking about using those or just sticking with some 18s.

09-19-2011, 10:21 PM
mine are 17x9

09-19-2011, 10:51 PM
:rofl:i do wool it took me a minute to get that lmao

09-19-2011, 11:29 PM
haha.. thought you might enjoy that....
fig if i write glass, they be more careful.. haha....

Dude thats awesome, I need to think of that the next time I ship something! I just bought a guitar and when i got it, it had about 10 fragile stickers on it, seems to me they were pretty careful...

05-02-2012, 11:02 PM
Looks bad ass!

05-07-2012, 03:10 AM

Been wanting to do this for a long time now. But I made the cane I used in my wedding to make my new shifter.

05-07-2012, 05:05 PM
Hot Topic shifter! lol i had this same idea too. Look bad ass man.

05-07-2012, 05:29 PM
Pretty sick bro! What is that center console and seats out of?

05-07-2012, 08:47 PM
seats hyundai excel, console universal. ya I got married 7 years ago and I have been wanting to make it my shifter but couldn't bring myself to cut it because of using it in my wedding. I have seen a few of these done before just not this particular 1.

05-07-2012, 09:28 PM

How much leg room you have with those seats?? How did you modify the bracket if necessary??

05-07-2012, 10:35 PM
leg room is less than pathy seats but its cause I set them to be little higher for the angle of my ankle when driving. I have problems with me ankles and knees. and yes it was a full custom install for the seats no bolt in application of any kind.

05-31-2012, 04:41 AM

gave my valve cover a brushed look

05-31-2012, 12:38 PM
that looks good. and yea the shifter is cool as hell

05-31-2012, 10:47 PM
heres the only before pic I got didn't think to snap some pics of it cause it was a spur of the moment idea.

06-01-2012, 02:16 AM
looks dope man is that painted or metal finish?

06-01-2012, 03:09 AM
looks good man!

06-01-2012, 11:59 AM
its painted between the ribs and all metal finish every where else I also sanded it while the paint was wet so that it got alot of metal flake into it. it was black paint that is now grey. when I tear apart the engine then I'm going to fully polish it along with the intake and fuel rail

06-03-2012, 10:03 PM
With the help of Jpierce I got my hood all welded shut and painted. Made a grille for my bumper out of my old phantom grille. Also put my belt buckle from my wedding on the grille

07-09-2012, 10:59 PM

07-09-2012, 10:59 PM

07-11-2012, 01:19 AM
Just browsing through some of your pics and saw that we have the same head lights... lol your the only other person with them I have seen.
