Well i got me another Hardbody. Its a 89 with the Z24(Eww).
I picked this up for 400 dollars running and driving. The body is rusted but there are really no dents in the truck. There isnt a spot of rust under the truck though.

it was brought to the shop the guy wanted to get it running so he could sale it. He owned it since it was new. Well all it needed was a battery. I offered him 400 for it and he bit on it. It runs, Drives(very good at that) and everything works on it.

Know of anything i can do about the Rust? Thinking about taking it to Macco and have them slap something on it. Anything would look better than what it does. Also did the 89's come with the Pathy front or was that ADddeddddd

umm there rusted wires. not sure which brand. they wont be on it long though.

yeah thats an 89 front end.

yeah. i think it was 89 and 90 that had the pathy grille and lights.

as for the rust, just sand it all off and rock some epoxy primer. no sense spending extra money for maaco since we know what you are gonna do with this one. ;)

it was 88-89 cus my truck used to have that front end.

any who just sand the hell out of her and primer up!:cool:

turn chicken shit into chicken salad basically. How much would someone charge to sand it down and prime it? Im gonna swap the hood, fenders, grill and headlights.

it cost $400 and isn't on fire, that's a deal lol... my isuzu was a $400 truck and it was a salvage title that leaked oil so bad, i never had to change it, and i had to replace a door and fender...and it was diahrea brown!

the body is the only thing that is rusted. before i bought it i pulled it into the shop and gave it a thorough look over underneath. There isnt a spot of rust on any of the suspension components or on the frame. The exhaust is a little rusty but who's isnt. all the body rust is surface rust. nothing that has gone through.

those aren't esse graphics, that's just straight gangsta ass old skool. fuck it, man, repaint it w/the graphics, slap a texas tail on the back, a local motion sticker, and some old skool billet hammers on it and show all these people what's up.

Well it's getting ready to go in primer. I also got my full size truck running tonight. Costed me 400 for 2 heads.
