Ok I had posted elsewhere about my shotty worksmanship and inability to weld....well after a few lessons professionally and some major help from my father we are attemptting to fix my mess.. I have just about got every thing back to gether so try not to hurt my feelings to much guys here goes....

Taking it apart...

Dad welding on new axle brackets cause I apparently couldn't..

then dad helped me run solid air lines so hopefully no more leak down???

ok first i know my notch is hugmongus, at the time I did not think about height just wanted a big ass notch now I see bigger is not always better so this winter we will redo the notch a little more conservative....

got to finish up sum wiring and fixx my starter from sitting for a year without cranking (i think it is locked up.....i hope) and put the bed on then its back to dragging.

It looks good. I think you are welding your vertical alittle hot and fast. But keep us posted.

Dad said the same thing turn down the temp and slow down. I guess pratice makes perfect...

^^^ on what, the shock mounts? Thats stick correct, what sort of stick are you using, that low carbon-high density white rod; 7018 I think it is? or that red rod. slag looks like 7018 and thats good shit to weld frames with.

My dad had some extra 1/2"o.d. refridgeration line. and a hand bender with flare fittings. He promises me it won't leak. I don't know we are going to find out in the next day or so.

Let us know how the copper works out for ya, I've been thinking about doing that for a while. How did you mount it when running it? I see some kind of metal clamp. Hopefully that won't vibrate and rub a whole in the copper.

Used 1/2 rubber coated clamps it should be good. :thumb:

ive used refridgerant copper many times with no leaks.. and i use it in just the regular push to connect fittings
