hey thanks guys, it's a setup im still running i finished last year

i only have a couple pictures anymore, but here they are
this is the "skeleton"
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c140/tmacis22/SSPX0044.jpg
it was then wrapped in fleece, pulled and stretched extremely tight, stapled around the back sides and doused with layers of fiberglass resin, did a light sand to somewhat smooth it out then went over it with bondo and sanded the shit for eternity is what it seems like...it's layed over with a black felt
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c140/tmacis22/SSPX0051.jpg
i dont have anything for the side amp install but it was pretty simple, after the covers are removed on driver side and jump seat out there is a lip that will allow you to use 3/4" sheet of mdf and will set flush to the front face of the panel....but i used some cardboard to get the shape to fit perfect and traced it over to the mdf, cut out for the amp's and cap, it's also covered in black felt...once the mdf is set in place with the amp's and cap mounted covered with felt i screwed into the wood from the back side of the panel to hold it in place.....i hope that description make's sense, it does in my mind but if any ?'s let me know

I left cuz they kept screwing me on Assistant Manager. And kept changing managers that got on my nerves. I have worked at 3 different locations, one is shut down now. I enjoyed working there, just to much corporate BS in the shop.

i like workin for the company...it's not bad b/c the next closest store is 400 mile's from us and we dont deal with a lot of corporate and district b/s...we're like the redheaded step child of the district..lol we get no love I'm on my 5 change over of managers, none of the past have been bad, just moving on and the new set is pretty cool. Our shop doesn't deal w/ anything it never has, just the car sales and INS. The managers never give us a hard time at all, it's actually become there fun place to be when they get frustrated or pissed at something...I thought about the AM but didn't wanna deal with the extra bs plus supervisor bonus was nice and i like what i do too much....sorry to whore out your thread a lil off topic

Yeah it's big, but I'm kind of a short guy so I've got a good amount of leg room. I'm thankful for having a kingcab

don't know if this is the right place to put this but since we're on the subject of king cabs. I was wonderin if anyone could tell me if the frames for the king cars r the same length as the single cabs?

Ok heres the deal. I found a guy sellin his king cab for $250. it has no motor, trans or tires and his frame is bent and rusted. but his cab n bed or in good shape. only rust is on the top of the bed where his toolbox was and on his psngr door by the key hole. no dents nothing. its a really good deal and me my dad and my clse fren all took a look @ it several times to verify it was in good shape so that i could buy it.

my plan is to switch the cabs. since my frame is sturdy and has no rust n i want n extra cab it shud work out.

so would it be possible to put the extra cab on my single cab frame?

i believe the frame is shorter on the single cabs. so u will need to extend the drive train and frame.

it actually started when a friend came over and said the regular speaker wire looked like shit and then he proceeded to cut all off them into peices..... so then we thought about it for a few days and this is what we came up with.. by the way they sound great too...
and thanks for the compliment.
