i say bag it first and do a BD later...thats what i plan to do. bagging and BDing takes a lot of planning, time and effort for both, not to mention cost. it would be easier on your schedule and your wallet to do one at a time. plus it helps lower the chances of screwing something up. mistakes happen no matter how much planning and preperation is put into it, but even one little mistake while doing two major projects at the same time. could really slow things down. could even cause so many other problems that you may overlook something as well...a lot of trucks get half done...i know that all of us on here would love to see your truck when its done...take it one step at a time and it will make it easier...IMO

nah i would say bag and bd at the same time.why pull ya truck apart twice...doubling the work load.

if it means waiting a month or 2 to be finacially set and be able to do it in one hit...thats what i would do.also,if you stuck on one part of the build, lets say waiting for some parts to arrive, you can go on and start with something else....ie cutting BD or i dont know.

I would get use to it bagged first and have fun with it, you will want to be a little more carefull after the BD.

I vote to BD now and bag later. Having your rockers 3" off the ground on a static drop kicks ass.

I voted all at once...why go through down time twice. You'll pull the fenders to bd so why not do the front bags then? The bed will already be off in the back for 4link on bags so why not bd it then? why tear down put together just to turn around and do it all over again a month later? At once makes more since

I vote wait and do at the same time. I wish I would have done my old one all at once!

on the flip side, how many people have bagged a ride and then a month later had to take the bed off to fix something.

its up to you man. some people would rather knock it all out in one slightly longer period of downtime. others would rather bag it, then go drive it and enjoy it, then go back in and bd it.

mehhh.. i think that there is pros and cons to both..even though i don't do any of the work...i just pay the bills for everything...
bag then bd later - you have more time to save up the money for everything... you truck is outta service less time...you wont be in a hurry to do everything at once... but you have to tear everything apart twice...
everything all at once- more money to fork out all in a row... you get everything out of the way at one time...you prolly would feel rushed....but you only have to tear everything apart once...

like us he built (( just baggin it ))our truck in a like a month and it was a huge hurry to get done in time for a our local show...and it was really only running for like 3 months and then tore it apart again...so if you would build it one winter thennn roll it that show season then you would have a whole winter again to do the body drop!! so it costs "less money" to me cause it was spread out over time...

soo i say it depends really on your personal preference...there are good things and bad things to each!!:D

im doin it with the help of one of my buddies that has a shop. its more or less me doing it. but i am having the guidence of someone that has been doing frames for like 10 years. i mainly wanted to do both at the same time, cuz me and one of my ricer friends is going to build up my motor while everything tore down. i rather miss the first few shows of the year and come out pretty well finished other then interior wheels and some body work i want to change up and paint. i have all the bag stuff all im saving up for now is METAL
