Ok... Dumb question. I finally got some switches for my power locks, now I realize... I don't have the wiring kit. I've read(and not much, on this shitty connection) that SPAL offers a wiring kit. I'm not really a wiring expert, hell I might have even asked these questions on the other site...

Anybody know where I can find this wiring kit?

Can I use just one switch on the power locks?

How hard would it be to wire some LED's in the door as courtesy lights?

And last but not least, what's that smell?

take pictures of the prongs on the locks, and the switch... would you want the leds to turn on when the door is open or by a toggle?

everything i have is SPAL... i got the basic window kit w/no switches or wiring, my lock kit came w/the brain and actuators, again no switches, i got 2 switches. i'd like the lights to pop on when the door is open, i just want green LED's instead of typical blah stuff.

anyway the switches have 6 prongs on the back(2 up, 2 down, i'm guessing the other 2 are for the lights)...

If your actuators only have 2 leads on them, you're going to give it juice one way to lock, and reverse the polarity to unlock. Your switches will be wired like this.

Run the positive and negative from your battery/fuse block to the center 2 pins, and run 2 wires our of either side to your actuators.

To add green LED courtesy lights to your doors, buy some green LED's (best price will be from ebay) and wire them to the same juice that your dome light uses. I don't know the wire color though.
