i know ive asked way too many times and i should really learn to write it down. but how do i get my measurements for more sloted port when making a ported box. im makin it for a single 12, i promise this will be the last time i ask lol im gona write it on my wall with a sharpie

you need to know the airspace, and the desired tuning frequency (start with 32-35hz)
all calculators are different tho, so youll get a different number from every one. post your numbers and we'll double check them for you.

box volume at 1.5 tuning to 32 hz, vent 4 inch high, 1.5 wide, 7.76 long sound right????

7.76" long is giving me 34.5 hz in bassboxpro6. 32hz calculates around 9.5"
BBP6 tends to tune you lower than expected, so id say 7.76" is in the ballpark. if you want, you can always make the port longer to tune lower, then trim it up to raise the tuning if you wish.
6 square inches of port is pretty small tho. normal going rate is at least 10 sq in per CF of space.
it really does depend on the sub tho. if you have a large sub moving tons of air, you want a bigger port to keep from choking it. for smaller subs, they dont need as large an opening because they arent moving as much air.
i would try to get up to at least 10 sq in of port for your box for any sub. 15 sq in or more of port if you are running something powerful.
