Well looks like Mary Jane has a hole in her heart :( On the way home from the LNO show this weekend she decided to go throw a rod. Pieces of the motor flew up thru the hole in the bedfloor and out the bed cover and I got a cool memorabilia "F45" piece out of the deal. I was able to manuever it safely to the side of the Interstate and had to have it towed home. Im soo sad now tho, but I know we will find another motor and keep on going it will actaully be better in the end. If anyone locally has a low mileage KA24E for a 97 D21 let me know.

Here's some pics...

Sorry to hear aboutr the motor, you should be able to find motor pretty easy considering how popular our trucks are and how many young kids have wrecked thier 240sxs' thinking they're the next drift king (myself included)

Wow, that really sucks when that heppens.

Midway Auto Salvage#2 in Auburndale has a KA24E for $500, they can be reached at 863-965-7258. There are couple more in Clearwater and Tampa around the $750-900 price range, but for a few hundred bucks more you can get a new motor like Jimmy stated above. Hope this helps some:)

Yea it sucked We were right next to her when it happened got a nice Bluish smoke screen but she handled it good and we got it home via tow truck. Its ok tho we allready had plans of tearing back into after LNO in a major way so now its just one more thing on the ole "Honey-DO-List" NO biggie it will make it even better once we finish the truck.

Keep your head up Baby she will be back alive better than before. ;)

Lmao yeah i was so excited when i saw this badboy sitting on our loading dock at work. Hey do yall happen towant my long block from my old motor. There isnt anything wrong with it except the miles that are on it. But it does make a good rebuildable one. Just another thought for getting you going again
