a 1998 Mercury Sable I bought from my girlfriend's parents for $1900.
her brother drove it for 2 years and never gave any trouble.
it has the 24v dohc 3.0 V6 with only 140,000 on it. it's almost fully loaded... has cruise control, partial leather on the front seats, keyless entry, automatic a/c / heat. said it gets around 25mpg, but it should be better when i do a tune-up and fuel filter on it. just needs an a/c compressor and throttle body from what her dad said, but no biggie.
needs cleaning up though.....
