Hey guys. I received my upper Billet Grille today but I'm not sure where exactly I should drill the holes. In pictures I've found online, It looks like the grille sits further inside than mine. Is it just my imagination?

Does anyone have pictures of the inside part of their grille? I pushed mine in as far as it goes, and it seems almost flush with the stock silver grille. Is this right?

BOTTOM PIECE (You can barely see the black tabs in the center)

If I trim the plastic, the tabs will be in the air and pretty much useless. Am I supposed to find another way to screw it on?

Thanks

Yes I used some 1inch strips of metal screwed it to the plastic and then screwed the grill to the strips of metal

Ya I used the flat pieces of metal they use to hold a chain link fence to the post when mine wasn't recessed the grill stuck out past the hood

Alright... Here are the pics. I Mickey Moused the installation, but it works. I painted the OEM grille black too. Thanks again Mike. I appreciate the help.
