I have a racing tank that I put my sender and all in but I was thinking about building my own tank, I don't have a factory dash so I have no cluster are anything so I was just thinking of going with a in-line. Thanks

fuel pressure is handled by the regulator on the engine. just get a F.I pump at 60-80 psi. dont get the high flow carb pump that only does 5psi.

You could easily use the inline pump off an F-150. You can scoop them from the wreckers (or WalMart parkinglot) with merely a pair of side cutters to cut the lines, cut the wires, and bend the tabs that hold it on the frame.
I use one on my 4AGE Lotus 7 replica. If it can feed a V8, it can feed a 4.

Really? That is cool my buddy has a ford junk yard lol. That is great. Thanks! I thought they were in the tank on a f150? I'm looking for a frame mount. I will check. I will just buy one lol. Not much on getting shot lol You no how we get when ppl messes with our trucks !!

It's in a roundish bracket inside the frame rail under the driver's feet. Super easy to remove. Be sure to scoop the hose connectors. They are unique to the pump, but can use typical high pressure fuel line and a hose clamp.

thats why I suggested the chevy pumps as well because theyre inline as well and use actual hose clamps not thoe silly ford clips. peace.

Thanks guys, I put the stock one in my tank but for some reason after I run it and it get up to temp then stop some where it will not start back, act like it is flooded, May be the fuel regulator, I can poor a drop of fuel in the thb and it starts right up and runs great. Kind a pain I guess.

the stock fuel pump and electrical system has a feed back loop that intermitently stops and starts the fuel pump..
if you are running your fuel pump on a straight power source then it is running all the time and is flooding the engine ..

It is hooked up just like factory, Only thing we did was cut a hole in the summit tank and put the fuel pump. Thanks
