Picked this up yesterday. We got it from a local dealer and probably will pay too much for it when it's all said and done but, Oh well, I like it. It is a 2000 Xterra with 77,000 miles on it. And now that I look at it a little, I'm wondering would 98 style 1st gen frontier front stuff fit this? (grill, bumper) They only made this style Xterra in 00 & 01.

Now I can keep the 88 Hardbody off the road a little bit and work on it when I need too.

I believe the 1st gen frontier stuff should bolt on. if you go on ebay alot of 98-00 frontier stuff also fits the early xterra. If you swap grilles you will need the filler piece though. As the xterra grille is taller. The headlights and front corners are the same.

You could always do an xterra swap lol,

Looking at the pics looks like the bumper is the same also and interior looks really close to a frontier

Yeah, I was just thinking if I wanted to chrome it out I could use the Frontier stuff. I don't think that the Xterras came chromed out back then.
I'll probably keep the offroad look with all black but I just wanted to know my options. If I ever get bored with my hardbody and have some money I don't know what to do with, I might put some more aggressive tires and some offroad accessories on it. I looked a little and that stuff is just as expensive (if not more rediculous) as all the mini truck related customizing that we do.
