my question is will this kit work?? and will a stock strut work? she needs struts anyways so was gona get some factory replacements when i lower it

remember you get what you pay for. If she needs new struts then you would want to step up the struts also instead of just factory replacement.

yea i know but my wallet doesnt have 700 bucks to spend on just lowering springs, plus she isnt gona be racing the car, just getin it lower so itll look better when we put the body kit and rims on it

I would save up to get an airride kit for it and go from there.

Most cheapie coilovers come with spring rates around 450F/350R. On a strut car like the Cavalier, those rates are WAY too high and will quickly destroy your stock or OEM replacement shocks. You would want Tokico Illumina (*cough*) or KYB AGX at a minimum, and that kind of coin is not worth spending on a Cavalier (wife has a '99 Sunfire).

Look for some cheapie OEM-style lowering springs like Suspension Techniques or Eibach. The rates are doable on stock shocks.
