I am reading through the threads on D21 stock floors...what size metal are you using for your frames? I assume 2x3 but what thickness? Thanks!

the factory frame is 1/8" so 3/16" should be more than enough.

I would make your own body mounts on A stock floor that have better clearence than the stock ones. Similar to this one.

Hes saying make new body mounts with more clearance then the stock ones, much easier then trying to reuse the stock ones.

I am just using the adjustable function to ensure the cab is exactly where I want it...then I am going to weld them solid.

That seems like more work than its worth. You could use washers to adjust the cab if needed.
