Ok guys i found out a couple weeks ago im gonna be a daddy :nana2: So i need to upgrade my 2dr hardbody to a 4dr and would really like to get a older pathy. Im lookin to get a 4x4 and i know the automatic trans on these things suck ballz and i want a stick anyways. I plan on driving it off and on between my hardbody and would like to lift it and go wheeling from time to time. Nothing big just cruise some small trails with my dad and his garage kept cj . So what do i need to look for when im checking it over? And what will be the best way to lift this thing in the air?
Thanks Guys :thumb:

Watch out for rusty frames!!! My first Pathfinder had rust behind the rear wheels that I didn't know about until after I bought it. Less than 6 months later, the frame was in 2 pieces. So it went to the junkyard like a lot of other Pathfinders have. This might not be a problem for you tho, seeing that your in Arizona.
My second Pathfinder (bought right after the first one) had a blown head gasket that I wasn't aware of (it was hidden by a lot of stop leak shit). Well another 6 months later, it was overheating and I had to get rid of it because it would of cost more to fix it than what it was worth. I've heard this is a common problem in the V6s... I could be wrong tho.
All of this happen before I know about IN...
Anyway, good luck man, I hope you don't get burned like I have in the past.
As for lifting it, I'm pretty sure you can adjust the front with the torsion bars (not sure how much tho).
Oh yea, congrats on becoming a dad!

pathys are pretty robust so just check for the usual stuff like rust and leaks. there are a couple good nissan 4x4 forums.
pathys have coils not leafs so ignore what ^^ said. easy lift is torsens and jeep springs, check the 4x4 site for exact ones to get.
