Ordered New Hi Output Alternator Today

Ok, so today I finally placed an order for a hi output alternator for my 2000 Frontier 4 cylinder. I am very, very pleased that they finally make this for the 4 cylinder. (DCpowerInc) Recieved an email today that the new CNC machine they invested in has been able to catch up on all the back orders of alts etc. and that as promised, they have cut the frame for a new alt for this application. I am going with a 270 amp unit again, I also have one in my SER from them. Price was a little steep (I paid $599.00), but after already having one from them, and using other alts from other manf. I KNOW this thing puts out SERIOUS juice! Its spec'd to deliver 170-180 amps at idle, and full power at a low 1500 rpms! I measured the output on the one for my SER at idle, and it absolutely never dipped below 14.8 volts, and I measured 183 amps @ idle. Here are some of the specs from the new alt for my Frontier...Obviously I dont have it yet, but I included a pic of the 270XP that I installed in my SER just to show what they look like.

good shit man. keep the pics coming when you get it on the truck. make a note of what the new belt size is too. i wonder how many trucks this part# will cross reference to.
