Advice about 97 GMC Sierra 1500!

Ok i am probably going to be getting the above mentioned truck. The truck in question is a 3rd door truck(ext cab but with a back door!!) I want to know what one of these would look like layed out!!! Anyone got any pics of one???

Ok i bought a 89 nissan hardbody today, reg cab. I took the engine apart on the full size GMC last night. Both headgaskets were blown and the heads are cracked so its gonna need a motor. Well thats going to take about a months time because an engine for the GMC is gonna cost about a grand. Do i bought this little hardbody today that runs and drives. Now i have a question. Is it legal to have a 1yr old in the hardbody in a car seat?

i drove my daughter home from the hospital in the hardbody. dont see why it wouldn't be legal.

i think that depends on your local and maybe state laws. i dont think its legal here. to me it would be like putting it in the front seat on the car and you cant do that. even if it is legal, i didnt like having my daughters car seat in my truck, just didnt feel like the safest thing to do.

I think it's legal, you just have to mount the childseat backwards. With the kid facing the seat, oh and turn the passenger side airbag off if equip.

lol, but seriously I think you're alright putting the child seat in a single cab. The DOT can't expect everyone with a kid just to drive chick cars

I picked the truck up for 1500. Gonna cost about 4-500 to fix the engine and 250 for tires.

well i got this truck running tonight. Costed me 400 for 2 reman heads and alot of labor but it runs great. It pulls posi as well!
